We have some non-verbal students in the classroom, and the new resources have been quite motivating to learn words to say and sign, \"spins, more, my turn, your turn.\"\r\n\r\nWhen it's too cold and wet to play outside, students are able to regulate and burn some energy especially navigating the steppingstones. Added bonus is that they repeat and practice their colors as they make their way across the stones.\r\n\r\nThe assortment of balls, rings, and bags has been a game changer in how we throw. The squishy balls have turned out to be an aid in regulation because of how hard one has to squish and how slow it fills back up.\r\n\r\nThe textured mats have been a hit, always intrigued when they are brought out.
