I can give more clear explanations of topics when I can draw diagrams on the board. It seems crazy that we'd be short of dry erase markers and tissues, but this is the state of things at the moment. \r\n\r\nThe construction paper really makes a difference for our projects. They're larger than printer paper and the colors allow students to bring a certain mood and uniqueness to their projects. The resources that were given have allowed me to give students a safe place to share their stress, and talk through the things that cause them anxiety. The cushions give students a soft place to land while we have these deep reflective conversations. The Ipad allows me to play soft music in this space to support student comfort as well as have a live check in form so that I can track which students are using this space.
