The SLIME craze that has been hitting schools and students are going nuts over it. What you may not realize is that kids can actually learn while making slime and their natural excitement is creates an added desire to learn about science. This proposal includes ingredients for students to make their own slime and with glue, borax powder, and glow in the dark pigments. When asking the students to make a list of science projects they'd like to learn more about this was the one item on everyones list. Some students have made slime at home, but most of the students in my class do not have the resources to experiment with supplies outside of the classroom.
