When we write about it we remember it and learn about our learning. My students will engage in many investigations this year and they will need to write down their explorations and their observations. Notebooks are needed from day 1 and many of my students struggle to get off on the right foot simply because they are either unable to get to the store or cannot afford the requisite materials for all of their classes. I would like to help my students out by providing these basic supplies right away. Why delay success? Success starts with setting good habits from the beginning.
