Our students read independently for 20 minutes daily and enjoy partner reading every Friday. However, finding highly engaging books in Spanish has been a challenge, as many of the books in our classroom library are old and well-used. With recent budget cuts affecting our district and school, we no longer receive a stipend to refresh our library, making your generosity even more meaningful.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our students now have access to fascinating, fun, and engaging Spanish books that truly spark their interest and excitement for reading. It has been incredible to see them eagerly sharing these new books with one another, talking about the stories, and even asking for more!
