Please! Please help us begin to build a discussion literature club library for our 3rd grade students! We could really use some quality literature! I hope to build a literature club library for small groups of students to choose a book of their interest. Books that allow students a chance to explore new ways of thinking, practice reading strategies, and promote discussions between peers. This will support our goal of reaching grade level standards while developing oral language skills and enjoying an adventure through a good story! These books will be presented to students during our Reader's Workshop. They will have specific strategies and responsibilities that will support them in understanding the book as well as fostering productive, academic conversations.
