My students now have the freedom to choose where they learn best. One memorable moment was during our morning meeting, where students used different seating areas to form a circle to celebrate a students birthday. They felt comfortable giving compliments and listening to each other, and the quality of their ideas and participation really showed it.\r\n\r\nThe excitement was contagious! As soon as they walked in and saw the new seating, there were gasps, wide eyes, and lots of \"Can I try that one?\" The room immediately buzzed with curiosity and joy. Many students commented that it made the classroom feel more like a space designed for them, which was exactly the goal.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating has been a game-changer, especially during our current culminating project: an A–Z Google Slides presentation. Each student is creating a slide for every letter of the alphabet, summarizing key concepts we've learned throughout the year. With flexible seating, students are able to choose workspaces that best suit their needs—some prefer quiet corners to focus and reflect, while others group together using floor cushions or low tables to brainstorm and review material collaboratively.
