My students absolutely loved the experience of dissecting their own owl pellets and finding the bones inside. Identifying the bones was another skill they learned as they compared the bones to the chart provided. \r\n\r\nThe Owl Pellets were a wonderful columation to an owl unit. Learning about the Owl, there habitat and what they ate was fun. The students thought it was cool that they could fly silently. Taking apart the owl pellets and finding the undigested parts was the coolest for them though. Without your contribution and generosity it would not have been possible.
