With six new Chromebooks for our classroom, we will be able to personalize our learning experiences so that we can all learn at our own pace. We will be able to access learning programs such as Front Row and Learn Zillion. We will be able to easily set goals, assess our progress and practice our skills. Chromebooks in our classroom means that we will be able to access our class website for differentiated support when we need help or challenging content when we want to learn more. Chromebooks in our classroom means that we will be able to start a digital portfolio of our work and publish the writing on which we have been working so diligently. Chromebooks in our classroom means that we will be able to build digital literacy and be prepared for fourth and fifth grade and beyond. With classroom Chromebooks advanced learners will be able to challenge themselves, and struggling readers will be able to build reading skills and fluency. We will be able to work on math concepts and fluency at our own pace and work towards personalized learning goals. We will also start to build the digital literacy that is necessary to prepare us for high school and college. We are also requesting a classroom easel for my students to use.
