We have also shared our good fortune with other teachers on campus who needed some plastic protection for their projects. \r\n\r\nWe are looking forward to even more creative uses for the Scotch Extra Large Laminator and the Thermal Pouches. The students and I have been especially impressed with how quickly the laminator comes up to temperature and how easily it seals papers of all sizes. Their increased confidence has enabled them to expand their ability to communicate digitally. \r\n\r\nThe Digital Citizenship lessons have also been very beneficial. Our students understand about online safety, cyberbullying, and the importance of using credible sources for online research. In the STEAM Lab, our students engage in hands-on learning after viewing Generation Genius videos and participating in game-style online quiz competitions. They learn science related vocabulary words and definitions and have access to informational reading passages correlated to the Next Generation Science Standards. \r\n \r\nIn our General Education and Special Education classrooms, students view Generation Genius math videos which connect the California Common Core Math Standards to real-life math experiences. Teachers often supplement the learning with the Generation Genius practice pages and online team competitions.
