It has such a positive impact on my scholars and myself. For one, I am only given $150 per school year from our district for school supplies. That does not go far, so clearly it becomes my responsibility to supply my student with what they need to be successful scholars. Thanks to you, I have enough spiral notebooks and pencils for my class of 27. \r\n\r\nSecondly, the sharpies, paint and paint brushes are somethings that get used often as we are in an Arts magnet school. One memorable project involved a collaborative mural where students used a mix of acrylic paints, pastels, and collage techniques. Each student contributed a piece that reflected their personal experiences and emotions, and we assembled them into a large, vibrant composition.\r\n\r\nOne standout moment was when a student who was initially hesitant about painting found confidence in blending colors and textures.
