Glinda, without her beautiful gown? The Wicked Witch without her signature hat and broomstick? These, plus many other items, were purchased because of your generous donation. \r\n\r\nSomething happens when a student puts on a costume....they feel special! Often, a costume gives a performer the boost of confidence that helps them really shine. That was exactly the impact these costumes had on our students. Over 60 students from kindergarten through 2nd grade benefit daily from items like granola bars, apple sauce, and beef jerky. These snacks help fill hungry tummies, boost focus during lessons, and give students the energy they need to fully participate in their learning. Many of our students come to school without enough food to sustain them through the day, and your donation has eased that burden so they can stay engaged and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThe impact has been immediate and heartfelt. Teachers notice that students are more alert during reading, math, and art, and children express excitement when they know a snack is available. For some, it is the highlight that keeps them motivated and feeling cared for. It was amazing to watch their creativity flourish as they collaborated and explored new ideas.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was palpable.
