With the new physical education equipment, my fourth grade students have been able to participate in more active, engaging, and inclusive movement activities. Students have practiced important skills such as throwing, catching, jumping, balancing, coordination, and teamwork while having fun and working together.\r\n\r\nHaving enough equipment for three fourth grade classes has also meant less waiting and more time actively participating. Students are able to practice skills at their own level, allowing everyone to feel successful and build confidence. The parachute and group activities have been especially exciting because they encourage students to communicate, cooperate, and support one another.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, the new equipment has helped create a positive environment where students look forward to being active, trying new activities, and working as a team.
