The students were SO excited when I passed them out! They couldn't believe their eyes! I had to give them time to explore this new tool on their own because there was no way they were going to be able to focus on anything I said.\r\n\r\nBefore these fancy whiteboards (formally menus) the students had to try to slide pages in and out of a page protector sleeve whenever we needed a new page for math. This took time and was often frustrating for some. Now they just turn the page and there it was! We could use a grid page for lining up numbers for subtracting and then quickly flip to a hundreds chart to skip count.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generous donation! Your kindness means so much to my students. My students are so excited to see the new materials and are even more excited to use them. Hands on materials are so important for 4 and 5 year old students. As students just begin to learn, they need fine motor activities so they are able to solidify their fine motor skills. Before students can write, they need to have strength in their fine motor skills. The tools you helped purchase will allow my students to strengthen their fine motor skills.\r\nThe drill kits are so engaging for the students. They do not realize that they are learning but they are. They are working on pencil grip without even knowing. They are working on math through patterning. They just think they are big kids drilling! The tweezer sorting is another great tool to strengthen their fine motor skills. They are using their pencil grip to hold the tweezers as they sort by color.
