I teach in a diverse low-mid socioeconomic area. My class of 34 fifth graders are dedicated learners and ready to plunge into STEAM activities, research reports, and critical thinking assignments. Our staff and parents are committed to bringing as many opportunities as possible to our students. Like most things, some of these opportunities come at a high price, and our funding is limited. We are a small school of around 450 students, TK-5. I teach science to all 68 of the general ed fifth graders. I would love to bring in more STEM projects into our lessons! My students are eager to share their learning with their school community. Our staff is ready to bring new materials to the students and create learning environments that best fit their learning needs. Any donations that are able to be made are greatly appreciated and will not only help my current fifth graders, but many more in the future!
