I have heard positive comments from families about classroom systems that are in place and just the overall display of the classroom. I was able to use headings for my bulletin boards, book bins to organize the reading levels for students to use and take quizzes online based on the level, and reward stickers to motivate students and help them feel proud of themselves...just to state a few ways that your donations have helped in the classroom.\r\n\r\nSome items may seem so simple but make such a big difference in a classroom. For instance, I was able to use a small rug with this donation to help me develop my calming corner. This corner gets such good use for emotional regulation. It helps students focus on what is important once their needs are taking care of. \r\n\r\nSo, thank you for making the beginning of this school year a great one!","fullyFundedDate":1750773647742,"projectUrl":"project/new-school-year-new-classroom/9394976/","projectTitle":"New School Year, New Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Iraheta","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7058390_orig.jpg?crop=360,360,x0,y7&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1580281056531","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7058390"},{"teacherId":5829504,"projectId":9546041,"letterContent":"I love how curious, creative, and full of potential my students are. In our dual immersion classroom, the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has allowed me to purchase engaging, standards-based lessons in both languages, including beginning-of-year lessons that align with our read-alouds, such as Chrysanthemum and activities about being kind with our words. I was also able to purchase math charts to display and help students learn the terms in both languages. The heavy-duty laminator ensures these materials last for years to come.\r\n\r\nThe plastic homework folders have been a tremendous help for families who could not provide their own supplies, keeping students organized and responsible. Our calming corner received a thoughtful makeover and has been a huge success—students now have strategies and fidgets to help regulate their emotions, focus, and feel safe in the classroom.\r\n\r\nTogether, these resources have created a welcoming, organized, and inspiring learning environment. The wobble chair quickly became a favorite choice for many of my students. They love the freedom to move while still staying focused, and I've noticed a big difference in their ability to concentrate during lessons. For some students who have difficulty sitting still, this flexible seating has given them a way to engage without distraction, which has boosted both their confidence and participation.\r\n\r\nThe Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has also made a tremendous impact. With it, I purchased high-quality resources like an engaging unit to go along with The Wild Robot, which quickly became one of our most loved read-alouds this year. My students connected deeply with the story, and the accompanying lessons allowed them to explore themes of empathy, survival, and community in a meaningful way. We even extended our learning by creating a classroom door display for Open House, and families were so impressed by the creativity and thoughtfulness that went into it.\r\n\r\nIn addition, I was able to purchase poetry units that brought a new energy to our classroom in April. Students who were hesitant writers found joy in experimenting with language, and many proudly shared their poems with classmates. These resources not only enriched our curriculum but also gave students opportunities to see themselves as readers, writers, and thinkers. Thanks to your generosity, our classroom feels more dynamic, supportive, and inspiring every day.","fullyFundedDate":1743117118413,"projectUrl":"project/active-learning-wobble-engage-and-thr/9179503/","projectTitle":"Active Learning: Wobble, Engage, and Thrive!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cabello","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5829504_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1582516040478","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5829504"},{"teacherId":6610705,"projectId":4834888,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our magical journey through fairy tales!\r\n\r\nBecause of your generous gift, my 3rd-grade students were expose to classic and modern tales that challenged their thinking, spark imagination, and built reading confidence.
