Thanks to your donations, I have been able to observe how my students continue to develop into independent, confident, and collaborative scholars. Let me share one of those achievements with you! \r\n\r\nAt the beginning of the year, I facilitated an SEL activity and conversation about equity and accommodations. My students learned that some people require more support or accommodations to achieve the same things as others, which also happens in the classroom. We rehashed this conversation in our community circle when the furniture and flexible seating arrived. As a class, they created and agreed to follow a classroom procedure for sharing the furniture in an equitable and fair manner, while also accommodating those who may need it most. They took the initiative in creating a collaborative and caring learning environment and have committed to it. This is just a small example of the beautiful community that your contributions have helped foster!\r\n\r\nThank you again for your kindness and generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1764528495780,"projectUrl":"project/funds-for-my-readingcalming-corner/9610791/","projectTitle":"Fun(ds) for My Reading/Calming Corner","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Aquije","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9784891_orig.png?crop=1062,1062,x0,y70&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727668318729","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/msaquije"},{"teacherId":9007615,"projectId":9783286,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom.
