We have already finished one novel and recently started the second one. With these books I have been able to teach fundamental reading skills that are essential for middle school students. We have and will continue to use the books to learn how to make inferences, identify foreshadowing and extrapolate information necessary to not only comprehend the reading but to apply it to writing. Everyday after lunch, we open our books and become immersed in the novels we are studying. Additionally, the students are required to answer questions about the text for homework every night. The books you purchased are being put to very good use! I really appreciate your kindness and generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1753416568769,"projectUrl":"project/books-give-the-gift-of-story-to-my-6th/9382067/","projectTitle":"Books: Give the Gift of Story to My 6th Graders","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Andrews-Garcia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5483094_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y38&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1698113951901","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/l-andrewsgarcia"},{"teacherId":1113425,"projectId":9309017,"letterContent":"Thank you bunches for your generosity in providing paint sticks and markers for my second graders!
