Counting cubes and place value charts will allow me to reach all learners in my class. By using these materials, all students will be able to solve problems in a way that helps them to understand. The materials will help the students explore the many different ways to solve math problems. By reading three core literature novels this year, I will be exposing my students to all the literary elements. The books I have chosen all teach about the human spirit, being kind, and overcoming struggles. We will use them to identify literary elements and determine how they enhance the reading, and more importantly to instill a love of reading.
