Some of my students need movement and sensory experiences to stay engaged and regulated, and the exploration station gives them a calming and purposeful way to learn.\r\n\r\nWhat means the most to me is seeing their little faces light up when they discover something new. The students were so excited to open it. The lap desks and floor cushions have been a great addition to our classroom. The floor cushions are so comfortable! Students love using them while partner reading on the floor or playing the word games to increase their fluency. We can't thank you enough. The moment I introduced the Tonies Box, the children were filled with excitement and curiosity. They couldn't wait to place the characters on the box and listen as their favorite stories came to life.\r\n\r\nWe use the Tonies Box daily during our literacy rotations, quiet reading time, and independent learning centers. As my students listen to stories, they strengthen their listening comprehension, expand their vocabulary, develop oral language skills, and build a love of books. Many of my students are learning English as a second language, so hearing expressive storytelling while following along with books has been especially valuable in supporting their language development and confidence.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite classroom moments was watching students eagerly retell the stories to their classmates after listening. They began acting out characters, making predictions, and discussing their favorite parts, showing tremendous growth in comprehension and communication.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our literacy journey, we will use these resources to explore story elements, compare characters, sequence events, and inspire students to create and tell their own stories. If I am able to upload the paintings tomorrow, I will do so. \r\n\r\nThe students were especially impressed with the high quality art paper your donation provided. The paper supplied by the school is sometimes very thin and lacks texture.\r\nThe paper was very helpful in allowing students to create high quality art projects.\r\n\r\nIn the near future, students will paint spring landscapes.
