The materials I am requesting will help my second graders to develop their understanding of the physical sciences through hands on experiments and activities. While all of my students are bright and inquisitive learners, several of them struggle with reading and writing skills, and require additional and different kinds of opportunities to immerse themselves with science concepts. Giving my students these hands on experiments will help them not only understand the science concepts, but also to continue to develop their love for science. In addition, these labs will serve as a motivation and scaffold for science based reading and writing activities.

About my class
