My students live in homes where distractions abound including other siblings, parents, pets, babies, and so on. The noise levels add another obstacle to students with learning disabilities. Attention difficulties, visual and auditory processing difficulties, and Autism are just some of the extra barriers my students face. Having a good pair of headphones would go a long way in ensuring better learning outcomes for the students I serve. The ability to concentrate and focus during online lessons cannot be overstated. Headphones will assist my students in accessing the curriculum which is one of my top priorities as a Special Education teacher.
