We are enjoying our new volleyball equipment tremendously! Students are practicing during PE, recess and after lunch time. They ask to take the volleyballs out everyday. They enjoy playing volleyball now that they have this great equipment, including the balls and carts to haul the nets to the yard to put up. When my students first saw the boxes, they begged to be the ones to unpack everything, pump up the balls, and set up the carts. They couldn't wait! We will continue practicing volleyball all year, and many will be inspired to continue to play even after fifth grade and on to middle school.
