With the helping hands from The Allstate Foundation and our school community, we were able to create Thanksgiving food baskets and gave to community families. My students were so excited volunteer to assembly the food baskets at the food pantry. Each food baskets contain a turkey, food canned and snacks. When the neighborhood families came and picked up the food baskets, they were so grateful for the kind action that our students has put into. Truly, It is the season of giving and caring! Each box was a perfect fit for each slot. I used the bins to make this particular shelf a math manipulatives center area. They are able to get up freely and choose math ten frames, linking cubes, counters, and many more to help them solve math problems easily. These bins have helped minimize learning time and make access to learning easier.
