My students were extremely happy when they first opened the box that was delivered. This surprise caught them off guard, and they were eagerly ready to utilize the items.\r\n\r\nThe manipulatives gave them hands-on, visual tools to understand math concepts better, and the reading strip allowed them to focus on reading, which has noticeably improved their reading scores. The magnetic base 10 set allowed the students a more tactile approach to finish independent assignments, which also boosted their self-confidence. My next step is to incorporate more technology in my lessons as a means to support my students in the future when they leave me.\r\n\r\nI truly appreciate your support and the positive impact it has had on my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1636581416553,"projectUrl":"project/organization-tools/5794892/","projectTitle":"Organization Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Bazan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1251040"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_6955","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":257,"numTeachers":21,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":81,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":5,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":89.4,"schoolId":6955,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Anatola Avenue Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Anatola Avenue Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/los-angeles-unified-school-district/anatola-avenue-elementary-school/6955"}
