When the carpet first arrived, my students were incredibly excited and immediately gathered around it with huge smiles. For many of my students, the carpet quickly became their favorite place to learn, share ideas, and participate in class discussions.\r\n\r\nWe use the carpet every day during whole-group lessons, read-alouds, phonics instruction, and class meetings. One special moment was seeing students eagerly rush to the carpet for story time and sit together ready to learn. The carpet has helped create a sense of community in our classroom by giving students a safe, organized, and comfortable learning space where they can collaborate and stay engaged during lessons.\r\n\r\nThe new carpet has also helped improve classroom routines and student focus. Students are more excited to participate during interactive lessons, partner discussions, and hands-on activities.
