This carpet has already made such a wonderful difference in our classroom. It gives my students a comfortable and inviting place to gather, learn, share ideas, and enjoy time together as a class.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new carpet, they were so excited! They immediately started talking about where they wanted to sit. Their excitement showed just how special it was to have a new space created just for them.\r\n\r\nWe are using the carpet every day during our learning time. One of our favorite activities is gathering together for read alouds. My first graders sit together on the carpet while we explore new stories, make predictions, learn new vocabulary, and share our thoughts. It has also become a special place for morning meetings, classroom discussions, and partner activities. Recently, we gathered on the carpet for a lesson where students shared their ideas about a story we had read. Everyone had a chance to participate, listen to their classmates, and build on one another's ideas.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue using the carpet as a central part of our classroom lessons. We are looking forward to using this space for more read alouds, class meetings, and activities that encourage students to collaborate and learn from one another.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping create a warm, welcoming, and joyful learning environment for my first graders. Your generosity has given them more than just a carpet—it has given them a special place where they can learn, connect, and grow together.
