My students have Autism and have many sensory needs. Many of my students want to be successful and are eager to learn but sitting on the carpet and being still can be a challenge. They try their best to stay focus and stay engaged as much as they can. I normally do my read-alouds, small group instruction, and math warm-ups on the carpet. They would benefit from having a flexible seating where my students can feel comfortable and it will be safe for them to move and learn at the same time! Please help my students feel successful and feel motivated everyday by providing them with the tools necessary for them to learn!
