It is a great addition to our class and it makes learning engaging and meaningful!\r\n When students first saw the whiteboard, I heard ohhhs and ahhhs! They were so surprised and excited to finally have a whitebaord added to our small group area. It is the object that was missing to complete their learning!\r\n The whiteboard has been added to our small group area. In this area, we have a kidney table and wobble chairs. This area is usually used for small group reading instruction with students that need to review and improve on their reading skills. I write the skills being learned on the whiteboard. Some of the skills being learned are syllables, vowels/consonants, and more decoding skills. Also, I have added learning posters to help students during their written comprehension. \r\n The whiteboard is also used for fun and engaging activities. Students enjoy coming back to class during recess and do art, play board games, and read books. Also, it is used to finish their work and need a quiet area to work in. \r\n We appreciate the magnetic whiteboard and we will enjoy it all year long!","fullyFundedDate":1754426014043,"projectUrl":"project/magnetic-whiteboard-to-support-literacy/9377556/","projectTitle":"Magnetic Whiteboard to Support Literacy Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. K. Because of your kindness, we were able to replenish essential consumable items such as paper, art supplies, and organizational containers — resources that have already made a tremendous impact on my students' learning and growth.\r\n\r\nYour donations have done more than simply stock our classroom; they have enriched every aspect of my students' development. With access to ample art materials, my students are now able to express themselves creatively and build confidence through hands-on projects that foster social-emotional growth. Through shared activities like painting, cutting, and building together, they are learning empathy, teamwork, and how to communicate their ideas respectfully and effectively.\r\n\r\nThe fine-motor skills they practice with scissors, glue, and drawing tools are strengthening their physical coordination and preparing them for future writing and academic tasks. The organized learning environment—made possible by your support of storage and containers—helps them feel calm, secure, and ready to engage. This sense of order and belonging has had a meaningful effect on their mental well-being, creating a classroom atmosphere that encourages focus and curiosity.\r\n\r\nAcademically, these new supplies have allowed us to dive deeper into early literacy, math, and science activities with creativity and enthusiasm. The simple joy of having the materials they need has made learning more engaging and accessible for every child in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in the importance of early education and for investing in our youngest learners. Your generosity has helped create a nurturing, stimulating, and joyful classroom where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1754426014389,"projectUrl":"project/art-for-tk-makes-learning-fun/9337724/","projectTitle":"Art for TK Makes Learning Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gomez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2052895_orig.jpg?crop=1118,1118,x614,y473&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1698981778867","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jessica-gomez"},{"teacherId":507196,"projectId":9015738,"letterContent":"Thank you to all the donors that made our project possible.
