For many of them, something as simple as having their own folder, fresh paper, or a comfortable seat was a big deal—something that made them feel valued, capable, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nWe've already begun using the materials in a genetics and heredity project where students create visual posters to explain how traits are passed from parents to offspring. The new poster paper and colorful pens encouraged even my most hesitant learners to dive into the activity. One student who usually avoids participating proudly stood at the podium to present his group's work—something he had never volunteered to do before. Watching him stand taller, speak louder, and smile afterward was a moment I won't forget, and it was made possible because of you.\r\n\r\nAs we move into our next unit, students will continue using the flexible seating for small-group discussions and the organizational supplies to keep track of their lab notes and assignments.
