My students are a fantastic group of young individuals. They come from all walks of life. For many of my students, French is their third language. Therefore, they will graduate from high school not being bilingual but rather multilingual instead. Approximately 65% of our students are on free and reduced lunch, yet they do not allow poverty to stand in their way to success. As I am the only French teacher on campus, I am fortunate to watch as my students grow and mature over the years. Seeing how much of a positive impact technology has had on the learning makes me want to do more for them as their teacher. Therefore, a classroom set of headphones will open even more doors to their learning. I have already told them about another French teacher in another state who uses Chromebooks. I mentioned that we might be able to "chat" with them one day in the future. My students were very excited. They see technology as a way to help them learn more.
