Your donation catalyzed a powerful, year-long conversation across our campus regarding the ethics, morality, and rapid evolution of modern Artificial Intelligence and technology.\r\n\r\nThroughout the school year, both our students and faculty dove deep into the complex questions surrounding AI. We launched the year with a fascinating guest lecture from a neurosurgeon, who spoke to our community about neurodivergence, how emerging technologies are reshaping the medical profession, and how he utilizes AI in his own practice.\r\n\r\nBuilding on that momentum, we integrated monthly school-wide homeroom lessons that directly mirrored the core themes of I, Robot. Students engaged in vibrant debates about how automation impacts human employment, weighing the distinct positives and negatives of technology in our daily lives.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, our English department incorporated the books into their curriculum, using Asimov's timeless stories to take a deeper dive into the societal questions technology raises. In particular, students were fascinated by—and critical of—the concept that robots and AI are fundamentally designed to tell us what we want to hear, rather than the objective truth.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our students are not just passive consumers of technology; they are becoming thoughtful, ethical critics of the digital world they will inherit. Thank you for making this profound learning experience possible.","fullyFundedDate":1756997082959,"projectUrl":"project/i-robot/9620968/","projectTitle":"I, Robot","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McDonough","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3907887_orig.jpg?crop=1520,1520,x795,y1250&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755549314519","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3907887"},{"teacherId":10250388,"projectId":9701838,"letterContent":"We cannot thank you enough for what you have gifted to our students! We began this year with no equipment and no way to invest in higher quality programs and tech to elevate our video announcements, and now with the donation of the iPad so many doors have been unlocked! Our students have been so excited to produce video content and engage with our social media. This iPad has not only been helpful in terms of editing and recording videos, but also in building interest and excitement to create media.\r\n\r\nWe use this iPad to edit our school broadcast videos and have seen phenomenal improvement in quality and enthusiasm. Students are able to have pride in their work from positive feedback from peers, staff, and the community on how great our video announcements look now. This would not have been possible without your donations, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for gifting this opportunity to our kids! You have made technology so accessible and so impactful on our students and we cannot thank you enough.","fullyFundedDate":1758902310225,"projectUrl":"project/time-to-tech-up/9701838/","projectTitle":"Time to Tech Up!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Nguyen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10250388"},{"teacherId":10179770,"projectId":9601237,"letterContent":"Your generosity has fundamentally elevated the learning and engineering culture in our classroom. The new wired mice have become essential tools for our Physics/Engineering students and robotics club members as they model mechanisms and prototype ideas in OnShape. Before, students struggled to CAD with trackpads and imprecise gestures; now, they navigate complex assemblies with accuracy and control. One of my favorite moments came when a student who had never used CAD before completed a piston system and proudly announced, \"Wait... I actually MADE this!\" That sense of ownership wouldn't have been possible without your support.\r\n\r\nThe arrival of our Bambu Lab A1 3D printer took the excitement even further. Students gathered around it like it was a portal into the future, pointing at the filament reels and imagining parts they could produce—from custom brackets to experimental robot components. Next semester, they will take their OnShape designs and turn them into real, testable parts, learning how to iterate like professional engineers. Meanwhile, the addition of our steel workbench has dramatically professionalized our workspace. Tools are organized, parts are accessible, and the environment now looks and feels like a functioning engineering lab. Students have taken more ownership of the space, and conversations have shifted from \"Where is that tool?\" to \"How can we improve this build?\"\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students will begin a full design-to-production pipeline: CAD modeling in OnShape, analyzing performance constraints, 3D-printing prototypes, and refining mechanisms based on real-world data. Thanks to your donations, my students aren't just learning abstract concepts—they are designing, testing, and building with a level of precision and pride that was previously out of reach. You didn't just give us equipment; you gave young engineers a place to dream, create, and believe in their ability to shape the world. Thank you for making a lasting impact on their education and future pathways.","fullyFundedDate":1756997082978,"projectUrl":"project/printing-the-future-one-layer-at-a-time/9601237/","projectTitle":"Printing the Future, One Layer at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Grumet","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10179770_orig.png?crop=323,323,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755273571001","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10179770"},{"teacherId":10214685,"projectId":9639481,"letterContent":"Thank you for funding this project consisting of a table and chairs.
