Because of you, my students now have access to math supplies that have completely changed the way they learn and engage with mathematics every day.\r\n\r\nBefore these resources arrived, many of my students had to share limited materials or rely only on paper-and-pencil practice. Now, with our new supplies, math has become hands-on, collaborative, and exciting. Students are actively building, testing, and explaining their thinking instead of just watching me model problems on the board.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments happened during a recent lesson on ratios and proportions. Using the new manipulatives, students worked in small groups to model real-world problems. I watched a student who usually struggles with confidence light up as he explained his group's model to the class.\r\n\r\nAnother powerful moment came during independent practice. Instead of asking, \"Is this right?\" students used the supplies to check their own work and help one another. The room was filled with productive math talk, problem-solving, and teamwork. These resources have helped my students see math as something they can do, not something that is hard.\r\n\r\nFor many of my students, these materials are more than school supplies, they are tools that build confidence, curiosity, and a belief that they can succeed in math. Your kindness has helped create a classroom where students feel supported, capable, and excited to learn.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students and myself, thank you for investing in our classroom and in our futures. Your generosity has made a lasting impact that we will carry with us every day.","fullyFundedDate":1763474762984,"projectUrl":"project/8th-grade-math/9758528/","projectTitle":"8th Grade Math","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lacy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6492357_orig.png?crop=398,398,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768333856593","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6492357"},{"teacherId":4947415,"projectId":9067558,"letterContent":"I hope this note finds you well.
