It has been a struggle to motivate them to pick up a book, but thanks to your donation this is no longer the case.\r\nWe highlight a reader of the week from every grade level by calling out their name during our morning annoucements. Students then come to the office and recieve their reward. Their eyes lit up with excitement as they get to choose their prize. It created an immediate buzz in our school, and they couldn't wait get picked quite literally!).\r\n\r\n\r\nNext steps for this project will be grade levels picking a goal as a team to reach. We are working collaboratively to extend it to students monitoring their own reading level growths. i\r\n\r\nThank you to the donors for making this possible.
