I will begin my FIRST year of teaching and I am full of ideas of how to make my classroom of students become a family! I included some basic needs as a teacher just beginning her career in education such as a pencil sharpener and printer. These items allow me to think quick on my feet in the convenience of my own classroom. I also focused on flexible seating for my wiggly kindergartners in hopes to reduce traditional seating and allow students to choose a seat based off of their needs. Students will be able to grab a clipboard to work and not be limited to a desk. Flexible seating gives options to students who fidget; gaining better focus and more physical activity throughout the school day. These items will help me promote the kind of fluidity and adaptability a 21st century classroom needs.
