My students look forward to coming to my classroom because of your donation! They love hanging out in this space. I have gotten to observe my students grab fidgets to calm themselves, sit in a comfy chair and count to 10 when they get overwhelmed. I have also observed them become better friends with each other as they play and share together. It has truly been such an amazing thing to witness.","fullyFundedDate":1740781921692,"projectUrl":"project/calming-and-enriching-classroom/9120982/","projectTitle":"Calming and Enriching Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Aleman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9927263_orig.jpg?crop=2288,2288,x0,y91&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1739998052521","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9927263"},{"teacherId":3036310,"projectId":8888336,"letterContent":"Reading time in our classroom is one of the most special parts of our day. Our carpet discussions spark thoughtful conversations, laughter, and sometimes even debates about characters' choices and story outcomes. We recently finished The Wild Robot, which led to incredible discussions about Roz's journey, and now we're eagerly looking forward to watching the movie to compare it to the book!\r\n\r\nThese new books have introduced valuable reading skills and life lessons. The Wild Robot helped students explore themes of survival, empathy, and adaptation. We look forward to diving into our next book selection! \r\n\r\nIt has been wonderful to see certain students develop a newfound love for reading. One student who usually struggles with focus was completely captivated by The Wild Robot and couldn't wait to discuss Roz's challenges.
