Several children have already benefited from having access to food they can discreetly take when they need it, ensuring that hunger never becomes the reason they struggle to learn.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your generosity reinforces a message that we want every student to hear clearly: there is no shame in needing help. They were able to utilize their creativity to create places for animals to live, space mobiles and houses they wish they lived in. The other materials encouraged them to explore STEM concepts like gravity, structural integrity and distribution of mass. \r\n\r\nThese materials were rotated through three classrooms of Kindergarten students and will continue to do so for many years to come. The bins allow for easy storage and mobility between the classrooms. We labeled each bin as part of this project so that any new teachers will know which materials are to be shared.
