Art is a hands-on and creative endeavor. During distance learning we can encourage hands-on learning at home if children have the materials. In class I am demonstrating how mixing primary colors creates new colors. I have chosen primary water color pallets and large construction paper so students can explore mixing colors and making their own creations. This will tie into our science project of making rainbows outside. All students are born with immeasurable imaginations, they just need some simple tools to explore it and put their thoughts into creative endeavors.
