Because of your generosity, my students now have consistent access to snacks, which has made a meaningful difference in our classroom each day.\r\n\r\nWe use these snacks during our morning learning block and again in the afternoon when energy levels typically dip. One moment that stood out was during a small group reading lesson—students who would usually struggle to focus were engaged, participating, and eager to take turns reading. Having a snack beforehand helped them feel settled and ready to learn, allowing them to fully take part in the activity.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the snacks, their faces lit up with excitement. Many of them expressed gratitude right away, and a few even said it made them feel cared for and happy to be at school. It created a sense of comfort and community in our classroom that continues each day.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are continuing to build on this positive momentum by integrating more collaborative learning activities, especially in reading and math centers. With their basic needs met, students are better prepared to take academic risks, work together, and stay engaged in longer, more meaningful lessons. We are currently focusing on strengthening comprehension skills and problem-solving strategies, and the snacks are helping support the stamina needed for these goals.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making such a positive impact on my students' daily learning experience.
