I've noticed students returning from snack breaks more attentive, more willing to participate, and more confident in their work.\r\n\r\nYour donation has not only met a basic need—it has created a more positive and productive learning environment. The support provided the tools needed to see ourselves reflected in the books we read. The students are eager to use these materials. One moment that really stood out was during a math review day. A student who usually gets frustrated with multi-step problems quietly grabbed a healthy cracker snack, sat down, and powered through without giving up. It was such a small thing, but it gave them just what they needed to keep going with confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen the snacks first arrived, my students were thrilled! They gathered around the snack bin, asking, \"Are these really for us?\" and \"Can we have these during class?\" Their excitement was genuine and heartwarming some even said it felt like a little classroom celebration.\r\n\r\nRight now, we're in the middle of a project where students are creating mini research presentations on topics like famous inventors, animals, and places around the world. Having snacks available has helped them stay focused during longer work periods and feel more ready to participate. The next steps for this project include peer feedback sessions and presenting to the class something that takes energy, focus, and a little courage, all of which are supported by your kind donation.\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving our students this simple but powerful support. You've helped create a classroom where students feel seen, cared for, and ready to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1731940427915,"projectUrl":"project/yum-yum-snackys/8656334/","projectTitle":"Yum Yum Snackys!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Urias","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8711419_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692292951091","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8711419"},{"teacherId":9766593,"projectId":9171230,"letterContent":"I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our physical education project on DonorsChoose. As a reading intervention specialist, I wanted to create a name for our pull-out services for reading intervention. This is how STARS, or Students Taking Action for Reading Success, was created! Our STARS students just loved receiving an end-of-the-year care package with the snacks, pencils, and sharpeners. They absolutely loved the play packs, and I'm sure they will get much use out of them over the summer. \r\nDue to new curriculum and keeping track of the growth of our students, we know next year that we are going to be able to make STARS Intervention shirts for the students who grow, and technically \"graduate\", and no longer need to come to reading intervention. We also want to offer the STARS shirts to our students who have tremendous growth over the school year. I can't wait to create a shirt design using the STARS logo in Canva and then have them printed on the shirts we received with the Cricut EasyPress! This celebration of growth is something that we hope to continue throughout the years! Thank you again for the amazing opportunity to acknowledge and spread joy among our struggling readers who have made growth in our STARS Intervention Lab.","fullyFundedDate":1731940486780,"projectUrl":"project/customized-shirts-and-reward-packages-fo/8521520/","projectTitle":"Customized Shirts and Reward Packages for Reaching Reading Goals","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Heberle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4055762_orig.jpg?crop=675,675,x46,y186&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1652121233630","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-heberle"},{"teacherId":9766593,"projectId":8804745,"letterContent":"We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of snacks to our classroom through DonorsChoose.
