I plan to teach my students number sense through great hands-on tasks. Kindergarten students often struggle with math concepts. In order to bring them to mastery with numbers 1 through 100, I will develop multi-leveled activities that teach each student at their stage of learning. For example, students will learn to count by using ten frames and counters for one to one counting accuracy. They will also learn to identify numbers through visual manipulatives. Students must develop certain skills for reading. I plan to use purchases to teach CVC world building so students will read at a C level by end of year. Thank you
