My students were beyond excited when the materials arrived—they couldn't wait to explore and start using them. We've already begun incorporating the new resources into our science lessons, and it has completely transformed the way they learn. For example, during a recent unit on magnetism and forces, students used the new kits to test predictions and observe real-world effects. It sparked curiosity and led to thoughtful discussions. These resources have helped make abstract concepts more concrete and understandable. Our next step is a group project where students will apply their learning in a hands-on investigation.","fullyFundedDate":1709790435516,"projectUrl":"project/science-experiments-material-for-middle/8241984/","projectTitle":"Science Experiments Material for Middle Graders","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Sameer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9479051"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_121517","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":58,"percentAsian":22,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":9,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":43,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Weighted Average","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":77.3,"schoolId":121517,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Yu Ming Charter School - MLK Junior Campus on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Yu Ming Charter School - MLK Junior Campus","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/alameda-county-office-of-education/yu-ming-charter-school-upper-school/121517"}
