I have students that come through at least once a day for something to eat. This was not something in my budget last year, so having this ready to go has made a big impact on those students. \r\n\r\nI also received donations for some workbooks that I've been able to reference to support students socially and emotionally. I work with high school aged kids, so they are really struggling with anxiety, self esteem, communications, and often time even depression. The work books help to navigate some of those feelings and skills. \r\n\r\nYour kindness does not go unappreciated! This impacted my students that I serve by allowing them a full stomach which studies have shown opens many doors for learning.
