Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in how students learn and engage with music every day.\r\n\r\nIn a our guitar classroom, students are often limited by cables and fixed positions, which can make it difficult to move freely, collaborate, or perform comfortably. With this new technology, students are able to move naturally while playing, interact more easily with one another, and focus more on their musicianship rather than the logistics of equipment. This has been especially valuable during performances and class demonstrations, allowing students to play with greater confidence and authenticity.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping provide our students with tools that inspire creativity, confidence, and a deeper connection to music.","fullyFundedDate":1764731945524,"projectUrl":"project/more-chords-fewer-cords/9933495/","projectTitle":"More Chords, Fewer Cords","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Harris","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4073727_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1480359764584","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4073727"},{"teacherId":8383965,"projectId":8273121,"letterContent":"When the new resources arrived, the excitement in my classroom was unforgettable. My students' eyes lit up as they saw the board games, treats, and incentives waiting for them. What might look like simple items from the outside quickly became tools for connection, motivation, and celebration inside our classroom. One student even said, \"This doesn't feel like math class.\"\r\n\r\nWe continue to use the games to bring algebra to life. During our new 90-minute block classes this year, students work in teams to solve problems and earn small rewards like candy. Those moments are more than just fun—they create laughter, teamwork, and confidence. A Jolly Rancher has turned into a symbol of encouragement. Even past students stop by just to grab one and say hello, reminding us how something so small can carry so much meaning.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue building this sense of community while diving deeper into algebra. Through these resources, my students learned that math is not just about numbers—it's about problem-solving, persistence, and celebrating growth together. Every treat, every game, and every smile is helping ignite a passion for learning.","fullyFundedDate":1719067553823,"projectUrl":"project/food-is-the-key-to-a-childs-heart/8273121/","projectTitle":"Food Is the Key to a Child's Heart!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Spratley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8383965_orig.jpg?crop=726,726,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756602193024","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8383965"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_54187","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":3466,"numTeachers":159,"percentFrplEligible":46,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":60,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":28,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"21.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.9,"schoolId":54187,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Red Mountain High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Red Mountain High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/mesa-public-schools/red-mountain-high-school/54187"}
