Using this timeless classic, our students have learned so much about the world around them.\r\n\r\nWe have learned about other cultures, travel on ships, caring for horses, and even learned about how to survive when shipwrecked. Our students' have also strengthened their vocabulary and comprehension skills as well. Our students will soon be challenged with a science project that connects with the book. They will have to design and build a ship that can carry a mini Alec and horse across the \"ocean.\" This will be a learning experience they will never forget.\r\n\r\nThese lessons would never have been possible without our brand new books.
