The materials that I am requesting are dongles and an iPad. Our 110 six graders rotate throughout five classes in a day for all subjects. I am asking for a dongle for each classroom and one iPad for us to share (I didn't want to be greedy). If my classroom had an iPad along with the dongles it would possible for me to easily move about my classroom giving directions and presenting my lesson to students. With the use of the dongle my students could quickly link to my LCD projector and share their completed work from their laptops with the entire class. This would open up opportunities to instantly share the work that students produce rather than having to save and send through email for the teacher to open, save and then share with the class. Our class uses laptops and have been producing Office Mix PowerPoints but unfortunately, it is difficult to share in-progress or completed Mixes with the class onto the overhead projector. Having an iPad to enhance the learning in our classroom would be amazing!
