Your kindness has made a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, many of whom face challenges both inside and outside the classroom.\r\n\r\nAs a Title I school, resources like these are not just helpful—they're essential. Thanks to your support, each child now has access to their own set of headphones, allowing them to focus during reading lessons, engage in personalized learning programs, and participate in online assessments without distraction. For many of our students, this is the first time they've had their own learning tool that supports their success.\r\n\r\nThe excitement on their faces when they received the headphones was priceless. One student said, \"Now I can hear my reading games better!\" Another shared, \"I really love these headphones!\" These small moments reflect the big impact your gift has made.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and helping create a classroom where every child feels seen, supported, and ready to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1756562840638,"projectUrl":"project/motorcycles-mice-andheadphones/9553164/","projectTitle":"Motorcycles, Mice, and...Headphones?!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Crosno","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2057854_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1542132801171","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-crosno"},{"teacherId":2057854,"projectId":9338095,"letterContent":"WOWzer! We have hung and stuck our sensory path materials to walls and floors in our front office and our students are absolutely LOVING them! It is so fun to see how excited they get to have an intentional space to explore sensory needs and release their emotions. I also recently read the book \"Good Things\" by Maryah Greene to one of my students who is currently beginning a journey of grief after the loss of a parent. The story really resonated with the student and helped her open up about her feelings and experiences. The resources provided in this project are incredibly helpful to me and my young learners. Whether we're practicing decoding strategies, working with phonics patterns, or building fluency, these resources have helped us create an engaging, hands-on environment where students feel confident and excited to grow as readers.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their excitement was immediate! Several students asked, \"Can we use these today?\" and jumped right into our reading lesson with renewed energy. One moment I'll never forget was when a student who struggles typically with blending sounds used the new tools to read an entire word independently, his proud smile said it all.\r\n\r\nThese resources have enabled me to deliver more effective small-group instruction while keeping students actively engaged in meaningful reading tasks. It's been especially helpful for those who need extra support with phonics and word recognition, and they now have the tools to practice and succeed.\r\n\r\nNext, we're moving into a unit on digraphs and blends, and students are already using their new materials to build and read words with greater ease. The confidence they're gaining as readers is incredible to see, and it's all thanks to your support.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just supply materials, it inspired learning and gave my students the boost they needed to thrive in reading.
