My students love using whiteboards but with the length of class and the number of students getting them organized eats into our learning time. I see more student participation when they are involved in the lesson and it allows me to do more quick checks to assess how well students are understanding the topic. I would love to eventually have whiteboard seating for all of my students! These whiteboard tables will give small groups the opportunity to do quick math without needing to get out any other materials. It will also be inspiration for new activities when we do math centers. This would support more opportunities for my students to show what they have learned and to get excited about showing their work, which is every math teachers dream!
