We have a variety of online educational resources that our students have access too. Many of them provide assistance by having texts read aloud to the student. Due to not having headphones, we have to have our students turn that feature off to avoid 25 computers all sounding off at the same time. Those audio aides will be of great assistance to our friends in need of that little extra help. Many of our district assessments provide audio assistance in the math and writing subject areas, but without headphones it makes it difficult to have everyone use that feature. Imagine 25 different students with computers on different questions. It'll create more confusion than assistance. Headphones will serve their purpose and enable us to use the audio assistance .
