My students are learners, authors, readers, researchers, and creators. The primarily Hispanic population that I have the pleasure of serving each day, works hard and consistently strives to break through the stereotypes and limitations placed upon their lives. The students within my classroom often enjoy reading, but they lack the resources at home and at school that are necessary to foster a true LOVE of reading. Anything that is donated to my classroom truly helps change lives within this community.
