The students and staff appreciate everything. With your donation, the students have been able to perfect their art skills in comfortable seating as well as take their art on the go with our new clipboards. When the new supplies came in, everyone was so excited. They were most excited about the new seating. Some students use them in their chairs and some use them on the floor. They were also excited to use the new drawing paper. They are learning so much more about sketching and blending while using it.\r\n\r\nWe plan to venture outdoors with our new seating, clipboards, watercolor paper and watercolors for a fun experience. We will be applying new techniques and they will be able to try mixed media projects as well. They are enjoying their new supplies and are very grateful. I can't wait to see what the students create next.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in the mission Mr. Valdez has envisioned. These resources have transformed our classroom into a space where students feel comfortable, focused, and excited to learn each day.\r\n\r\nThe STEM tools, in particular, have made a big difference in how students engage with learning. Instead of just reading about concepts, students are now able to explore, build, and problem-solve through hands-on activities. This type of learning helps deepen their understanding, strengthens critical thinking skills, and allows them to collaborate more effectively with their peers. The math visuals displayed around the room also support daily learning by reinforcing key concepts in a way that is both accessible and engaging.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most exciting is seeing how students respond to these new resources. Many students who were previously hesitant or less engaged are now more eager to participate, especially during hands-on activities. Some students who benefit from movement and flexible seating options have shown improved focus and productivity. Overall, these additions have helped create a more inclusive and motivating learning environment where all students can thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1768856519661,"projectUrl":"project/comfort-creativity-and-clean-spaces-fo/10030999/","projectTitle":"Comfort, Creativity, and Clean Spaces for Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ramos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8670182"},{"teacherId":10411109,"projectId":10037429,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for purchasing the items within my project. I was amazed that all of my students genuinely liked the items and they constantly ask where I got them or if I bought them myself. I made a space for students in my office so when they enter or need time to regulate themselves they can take a seat and use any of the fidgets in the cart. And the students do just that when they enter, they treat them with respect, and understand that other students use them too.\r\n\r\nThese items don't only stay in the School Counselor office but they travel to classrooms where I hold counseling groups. As our sessions continued I noticed that some of the group members would bring out their own coping items like markers, coloring pages, and stuffed animals and that is when I realized that some of our students need fidgets during conversations. Especially when having conversations about big emotions. I began bringing the fidgets to group sessions and the students were so excited and appreciative.\r\n\r\nI have yet to use the bigger items like the paints, canvases, and journals but I plan on incorporating them into my group sessions as we are starting to learn and dive more into different coping and relaxation skills / activities. Your support has made a difference for both our students and our learning environment.\r\n\r\nThanks to your contribution, our classroom is now equipped with essential supplies such as paper, pencils, colored pencils, a pencil sharpener, and much-needed organization and storage materials. These items help ensure that every student has access to the tools they need to stay focused, prepared, and engaged in their learning.\r\n\r\nThe students are especially grateful for the snacks you provided for testing days. Small gestures like this go a long way in helping students feel comfortable and supported during what can often be a stressful time.\r\n\r\nYour generosity not only meets practical needs but also shows our students that their education is valued by the community. When the supplies arrived, my students were genuinely excited. As we passed everything out, I could hear them saying things like, \"This is mine?\" and \"I finally have everything I need.\" We took time to set up their binders together, adding dividers, paper, and pouches, and for many of them, it was the first time their materials felt organized and complete.\r\n\r\nSince then, we've been using these supplies every day. Students are taking notes more seriously, tracking their work, and coming to class more prepared. I've noticed they're less worried about not having what they need and more focused on learning. I'm also able to move around the room more easily and check in with students one-on-one, which has made a big difference in how I support them.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly changed the way my classroom runs and how my students feel when they walk in. The new resources have quickly become a central part of our daily learning, and my students are using them in ways that build confidence, creativity, and collaboration.\r\nOne moment that truly stood out was during a recent classroom project where students used the new materials to work in small groups and solve real-world problems. Instead of relying only on textbooks, they were able to interact, explore, and create. I watched students who are usually hesitant to participate step up and share their ideas with excitement. One student even said, \"This makes learning feel real,\" which perfectly captures the impact your support has had.\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the reaction was unforgettable. There were gasps, huge smiles, and immediate curiosity. Students couldn't wait to explore everything, and their enthusiasm carried right into our lessons. It felt like a fresh start full of energy and possibility.\r\nLooking ahead, we are building on this momentum. Students will continue using these resources for a deeper, ongoing project that encourages critical thinking and teamwork. They will be applying what they've learned to create presentations and share their ideas with the class, strengthening both their academic skills and their confidence.\r\nYour support has not only provided tools, it has created opportunities, inspired engagement, and made learning more meaningful for every student in our classroom.
